Zhucchini is a type of vegetable.

Here are most common types of zucchinis you may come across:

Ambassador: The Ambassador is a high-producing, hybrid zucchini. This variety is cylinder-shaped, medium green with gold specks and a compact growth habit.

Elite: This type of zucchinis are waxy, medium green and looks most like traditional zucchinis.

Sweet gourmet: Is a type of zucchini that comes from Lebanon. It is very high producer with a compact growth habit. You can recognize Sweet Gourmet by it length – it is very long, it is tapered and light green.

Eight Ball: An extremely unique variety of zucchini is the Eight Ball. This plant produces ball-shaped zucchini that grow to the size of baseballs. They are dark green with gold specks. The Eight Ball is a more recent variety with a more robust and nutty flavor than the older mild roly poly variety. Look for small squash one to four inches in diameter for the best texture and flavor. The squash have a shiny, speckled, green skin, and creamy, white flesh.

Black zucchini: is very common and widely distributed cultivar. Its name originate from its dark skin, which sharply contrast with its white, bright flesh.

Gold rush: is a bright yellow zucchini, with dark green stems. This zucchini has great eating quality and is very appropriate for summer meals, like salads.

    I am waiting for zucchini in my garden to start producing an abundance of fruit. I would have liked to see more savory dishes and less dessert but they sound so good. By the time I am picking them my oven will be repaired and I can start preparing them. I didn't see any pickle recipes and have made them in the past. Ingredients are easy to obtain even here in rural area.

    I'm a big fan of all kinds of zucchini recipes and was excited about finding this Kindle cookbook.I found a few recipes that looked appealing but nothing really new here. Most of these recipes (or very similar ones) I had already seen elsewhere.If you need a very basic zucchini cookbook or want to add more zucchini to your diet, this might be one to check out.

    The book had quick easy recipes.Using zucchini as pasta is a healthy alternative to store brought traditional pasta.I like using zucchini pasta as a raw dish and adding a raw sauce, what a great power punch.
