This is such a great volume with so many great pieces of information. I'm not sure it is clear in the description though that it is TINY--a pocket sized volume.

Perfect for med school phys. My school is set up based on systems and group discussion. I was able to use this text to rock out in group. I had the pictures (which are priceless) and was able to explain anything the teach threw my way. It really is awesome!

I bought the original color atlas of physiology years ago as a graduate student in exercise physiology and found it to be an excellent reference. My wife is currently working on her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner. Maybe not the most romantic Christmas gift, but I purchased the color atlas of pathophysiology for her to supplement her regular textbooks and to keep handy in the clinic. Not only does she love it, but her fellow students and the faculty were all very impressed with the text. Highly recommended.
