People, Take a look at the cover page. The subtitle is incomplete. The content is sparse. Layout is poor. Why did the author(s) give Creative Space printers such a poor product. The "Look Inside" display seemed to suggest that the book offered way more content than actually exists. Any words on the pages seem to be from Apple's on-line content. The Newbies Guide fails to be a guide for what is required to create an iBook. Maria Langer's IBooks Author Publishing Your First Ebook, An illustrated guide to creating and publishing multi-touch books with iBooks Author will take you through preparing an iBook using the downloadable files she provides. If you want just the facts, and there are a lot of them, try Galen Gruman's iBooks Author for Dummies. Both of these recommendations will help you assemble and do what you want. IBooks as multi-media editions require a lot of preparation to get text, photos, video, audio, galleries, keynote presentations, definitions, and even 3D images together.
