I ENJOYED THIS BOOK SO MUCH SO THAT I IMMEDIATELY GOT ON LINE TO SEE WHEN THE SEQUEL WOULD BE RELEASHED!!!!I HAVE A VERY BAD HABIT OF READING THE END OF THE STORY FIRST AND I WAS DEVASTATED WITH WHAT I READ, OF COURSE I WOULD CONTINEUE TO READ THE REST OF THE BOOK,AND I'M SO VERY GLAD THAT I DID!!!! I DON'T LIKE TELLING THE STORY BUT I LOVED WHAT HAPPENED TO SEVEN'S MOM, AND I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED HOW MIKO AND SEVEN MET!!!!!!KUDOS TO THE AUTHOR, YOU HAD A LOT OF PAYBACK GOING ON AND THIS BOOK IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE $$$ I SPENT FOR IT!!!!!!!!!

Ok this book started out really good..until her man got his head chopped off...that sucked...what was this author thinking...I mean he could of at least made it to the end...I could not read no more after that...but this book does have potential...Mr. Dutch why you gotta be chopping off the main characters head...Gosh!

I liked somethings about this book. I like the beginning of how Seven and Miko hooked up. Typical good girl meets bad boy. The falling out of girlfriends who get jealous and the betrayls. But the book had some unrealistic parts too.1. No street hood dude is going to be fully supporting you your invalid mother and lil brother, move you in his home and have you sleeping with him every night and he not getting a cootie. Nope nope not going to happen. The author rights he asked her 1 time and she said she wasn't ready yet so he never asked again. Oh please! Oh and let use not forget the marriage perposal before the sex.2. Also what happened to her goals, where she wanted to go in life. One day she had plans for college then the next all she doing is shopping and having his baby. Geesh you need to get your own something cause not all thugs make it out the hood. And if your man gets locked up you should have a career to fall back on so you can put money on his books. The book had some realistic stuff like I didn't expect Seven to be killed and even his supplier saying she's responible for his lost.

A DAY AFTER FOREVER written by Willie Dutch is set in Houston, Texas, around Miko Harris, a student, whose home life has consisted of trials and turmoil on a consistent basis. While caring for her mother, who's had a stroke, and her younger brother, Miko doesn't have much of a social life. That is until her girl, Jahzay, convinces her to kick it with her.Seven Jacobs is regarded as a local celebrity hustler. Once people learn that the hardly ever seen hustler will be making an appearance, every chick in Texas is trying to be chosen. Lucky for Miko, she's the one that Seven has an instant connection to. While Miko is immediately drawn to Seven, his career puts a damper on their `getting to know you.' Is Miko willing to look past his flaw for a shot at forever--ever--ever?Imagine if you will, good girl with aspirations on making it out the hood hooks up with the local hustler, and viola, all her worries exist no more. From barely dressing and riding public transportation, she is now not only hittin' the malls with a vengeance and wheeling about in a Lexus, but she's now a gun toting, ride-or-die chick ready to bring a move if provoked. Can you say pre-dict-able?I was hoping that Willie Dutch would have added his own flamboyance to A DAY AFTER FOREVER, unfortunately he didn't. Even more disturbing is how the characters seemingly contradict themselves over and over again. It's in this reviewer's opinion that if Willie Dutch is doing a sequel that he considers assistance in order make his next work less typical and more suspense- filled and driven.
